Center and Trade Developer

About the Position

We offer you an exciting and fast-paced job that includes planning, marketing, implementation, and follow-up of events and fairs.

You will participate and provide support in various trade networks. The work involves collaboration with merchants, property owners, and other businesses/associations to create safe and attractive trading environments. In your role, you will also be involved in various projects and collaborations aimed at strengthening Tidaholm's place brand.

You work to ensure that the various stakeholders in the city collaborate and have a common vision and goal for the development of the center, driving the process together with those involved to make the goals a reality. This requires, among other things, continuous dialogue with property owners, traders, companies, and other actors in the center.

As a center and trade developer, you belong to the Business and Communication Unit, which is centrally located at the municipal management office in the City Hall. The position is a fixed-term employment until March 31, 2026, with a possible extension if necessary project funding is obtained.

Qualifications

Being a center and trade developer means you work both strategically and operationally with planning, implementation, and follow-up of various projects and events/activities, as well as communicating these.

We see that you are innovative and engaged, have an easy time creating and maintaining relationships, and are driven by working with development and collaboration.

You are a structured person who finds it easy to plan and drive your own processes and projects to completion. Your good communication skills enable you to express yourself well in both speech and writing. You need to understand how a politically governed organization works and the conditions of the business sector.

You preferably have education in tourism, marketing communication, business development, or other relevant work experience, alternatively other education or experience that the employer finds equivalent. You are used to always putting the customer first and can provide excellent service!

As travel is required in the position, a B driver's license is a requirement.
